We're your hosts, Dan & Michele McDonough.  We purchased the Dixie Belle in February 2002 after retiring from 20something years working in the casino industry.

Originally from the Atlantic City, NJ area, we come to Florida via upstate New York and then Lake Charles, Louisiana.

This year, we've added a new theme room.  Kitchen unit #3 is now the Nascar room.  Inside we're painting the bathroom doors in all rooms and outside freshening the trim.  We'd like repaint all the exterior doors soon.

Outside, Dan's landscaping projects are ongoing. You'll love the fountain in front of the office!

We have a boat wash area out front with a supply of fresh rags on hand, and Dan's "state of the art" fish cleaning station in back. 

This is a great little place for tourists, families, fishermen, boaters, hunters and anyone else who enjoys the atmosphere and friendliness of a "mom & pop" operation.  We also value our corporate guests and offer them great weekly & monthly rates.

We offer reasonable rates and all major credit cards are accepted.  Make us a stop on your next trip the the Florida gulf coast & we'll do all we can to make your stay a good one.

PS:  Michele is now a Florida notary.  She can officiate weddings on our tacky little deck or our alligator & snake infested back yard. (just kidding!)  A wedding at the Dixie Belle may not be elegant, but it will be cheap.

Just wanted to drop you a note Michele, and thank you for giving us just the wedding we were looking for.  It was perfect.  The verse you recited was beautiful, and the card was a really nice keepsake.
